Originally from Brunswick, Georgia, Teresa developed a passion for coastal living nurtured in her early years on the barrier islands of St Simons and Jekyll Island. Having attended the University of North Alabama in Florence and earned her B.S. degree from Athens State College, Teresa completed her graduate work in education with a M.A. and Ed S at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She spent fifteen years teaching in public education in Decatur and outlying Huntsville areas prior to entering real estate professionally.
It was her early love for the coastal way of life that drew Teresa back toward salt water, marsh grasses, and sandy beaches in 2005. Listing and selling residences and condos from Gulf Shores to Fairhope, Daphne and Spanish Fort, Teresa has consistently been a top selling agent within her market areas. She firmly believes that learning about her customers and their desires has been the key to her success in locating the property of their dreams and earning their repeat business and referrals.
"Buying or selling a home or condo is a very personal experience," Teresa admits. "I consider it a gift to be a part of each client's journey and use my years of training to educate and involve my clients in the condo and home buying or selling process along coastal Alabama. My customers come away knowing they've made good choices," she says.
To accommodate the ever changing real estate market, Teresa has specialized in listing Short Sales for condo owners and residential homeowners across Baldwin County. She has completed the FSSR course on Foreclosures, Short Sales, and REO's and has earned the Certified Distressed Property Expert designation so important to serve her clients today.
Teresa maintains a home in Gulf Shores and another in Fairhope, enjoying the best of what Baldwin County has to offer in residential choices.
